Alfredo Sauce may just be one of my favorite "food toppings" of all time. Oh so luckily it's also easy to make and it's low in carbs! For years now I've continued to enjoy it on many things OTHER than pasta. One of my go-to Alfredo recipes is Low Carb Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo...Noodle-less of course and it's so simple to make that it's almost silly!
For this recipe, I simply steamed some broccoli, mixed it with some grilled chicken (you can also buy precooked grilled chicken for convenience) and I smothered it all with homemade Alfredo sauce. I usually use THIS Alfredo Recipe which is wonderful as is, but you can adjust easily to your tastes if you like it saltier, or with more pepper, thicker, thinner, etc.
You can also use store bought Alfredo sauce such as Bertolli or Classico which has lots of different flavored versions. With these you can also end up adjusting to your liking by adding cream cheese for more creaminess, or more Parmesan, etc. Most are low in carbs, but check the labels for the lowest carb count.
