Breakfast is my favorite meal! It's always so motivating to start my day deliciously low carb. My goal is to always keep it simple, but to never sacrifice taste. It may sound silly, but I like to end each breakfast feeling like I spoiled myself a little bit. It's a perfect way to start the day! I thought it would be fun to do a visual round-up of 20 of my favorite and frequently eaten breakfasts!
I often get asked these two questions, "Do you eat a lot of eggs?" and "Don't you get tired of eggs?" My answer...I do frequently eat eggs. They are low in carbs and easy to fix, BUT I constantly switch up HOW I cook them, and what sides I pair with them so as not to tire of this low carb staple. However, I DON'T eat eggs daily for breakfast, there are plenty of other options! So, within this list you'll see pictures and descriptions of my egg breakfasts paired with different sides, AND my non-egg breakfasts. My hope is that you find a few things among this list to broaden your breakfasts and start your day off low carb and happy!

Your recipes look delicious but I thought that sausage and bacon are processed food so unhealthy. I'm so confused over what we should and shouldn't eat anymore??
ReplyDeleteI have been told you can eat this meat once a day and be safe even though it is processed.
DeleteTina it is considered a "process food but you can buy these items without nitrates, no added hormones & preservatives. We only eat that kind of meat sparingly. Once a week.
DeleteOMG! Apparently you eat a lot of scrambled eggs, but by the looks of them, you are not enjoying them as much as you could be. You've GOT to check out Gordon Ramsey's way of cooking them. Read every detail and do it exactly as he says. You'll be amazed! I've never had eggs like this before and I'll never go back. It'll change your egg eating life. I promise! http://www.food.com/recipe/gordon-ramsays-scrambled-eggs-186294
ReplyDeletelol I eat a lot of them because I absolutely love scrambled eggs BUT I also love trying new ways to eat eggs, so thank you for the recipe! I'll be trying this one soon :)
DeleteThose aren't scrambled eggs, those are chopped fried eggs. I second the recommendation to check out cooking them slower, and you have to beat them up before you put them in the pan. You are missing out on some delicious stuff.
DeleteLol thanks y'all, I actually cook them different all time time just to mix things up a bit. I eat eggs almost daily and trust me, there's not much I haven't tried
DeleteI will try cooking eggs Gordon's way, but if you ask me, they were too soft. I don't like wet eggs.
DeleteI thought I should tell you that your french toast egg puff revolutionized breakfast around my house. In addition to your egg puff, we now use this mixture for our waffles - both sweet and savory. Works like a charm, and no dry gritty texture from coconut or almond flour. Thanks for posting great recipes, especially the ones you think are too simple!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the work you have put into this post. I have this post bookmarked in Delicious and will refer back frequently over the next several day.

Fried avocado? I have GOT to try this. Great post!
ReplyDeleteThese look GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering if you count your carbs daily, or per meal. and if so....how much are you staying under? I know that a lot of people are low carb high fat, but you really need to keep carbs low to raise fat intake. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you much :)
ReplyDeleteI feel much less overwhelmed now that I have found your site. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I can't wait to try your recipe for almond bread. Going back on a low-carb diet after the new year to try and drop a few pounds and I'm always looking for great new recipe ideas. Thanks!
